Save the Date: VR Arcade & Attraction Summit March 2025
Visitors to the Eiffel Tower can now experience its construction like never before, thanks to an innovative VR simulation. This immersive one-hour and fifteen-minute experience, available in both French and English, allows tourists to step back in time to the 1889 Exposition Universelle. Set at the base of the Eiffel Tower on the Champ de Mars, this VR tour vividly brings to life the construction of the iconic structure, immersing participants in the lively atmosphere of the late 19th century.
Participants in this VR experience will discover architectural treasures such as the Palais du Trocadéro and the Palais des Industries and even encounter Gustave Eiffel himself. This unique tour offers a deep dive into the history and challenges of building what would become one of the most famous landmarks in the world.
Suitable for ages 8 and up, the experience entertains and educates visitors about the little-known facts and controversies surrounding the Eiffel Tower’s construction. For instance, it reveals how the Countess de Poix complained about the construction spoiling her view, a view that today would be highly coveted.
The VR tour does not include access to the upper floors of the Eiffel Tower, so visitors will need to explore those areas on their own. Tickets can be reserved online, with a 15% discount using the code SAP15. The tour costs €19 for ages 8-17 and €29 for adults.
