Black Badge VR is a content platform from Korean developer VRMotion. The company exhibited a compact 3-player zombie shooter at VRLA in 2017 and has since expanded the platform to support multiple cooperative mission-based experiences set in a near-future science fiction setting.
The platform runs on PCVR with support for PICO 4, Quest, and VIVE Focus headsets in a 6×6 meter space. Experiences link to the MVR (motion VR) hardware system, which includes directional haptic vests, gun peripherals, and environmental effects — wind, heat, and vibration.
Black Badge VR currently includes four titles: cooperative shooter scenarios, escape room missions, and puzzle-driven narratives. All experiences are team-based and support groups of players working together through branching story arcs.
