Black Badge VR is a content platform from Korean developer VRMotion. The company exhibited a compact 3-player zombie shooter at VRLA in 2017 and has since expanded the platform to support multiple cooperative mission-based experiences set in a near-future science fiction setting.
The platform runs on PCVR with support for PICO 4, Quest, and VIVE Focus headsets in a 6×6 meter space. Experiences link to the MVR (motion VR) hardware system, which includes directional haptic vests, gun peripherals, and environmental effects including wind, heat, and vibration.
Black Badge VR currently includes four titles: cooperative shooter scenarios, escape room missions, and puzzle-driven narratives. All experiences are team-based and support groups of players working together through branching story arcs.
