Description

Chronosphere is a free-roam VR escape room experience that tasks visitors with infiltrating a magical tower to recover the Chronosphere artifact from the wizard Yendor. The experience runs on PCVR platforms and is available on Spawnpoint.

The narrative centers on Yendor, who uses the Chronosphere to manipulate time for immortality while draining life from surrounding kingdoms. Visitors navigate the tower’s levels, solving puzzles that require time manipulation mechanics: rewinding actions, altering timelines to bypass obstacles, and solving logic challenges across multiple temporal states.

Combat encounters appear throughout the ascent. Visitors face creatures created through corrupt magic, using environmental tactics and exploiting enemy weaknesses. The time mechanics function in both puzzle-solving and combat contexts.

Environmental storytelling conveys the tower’s history through artifacts and scrolls. Each level reflects Yendor’s escalating paranoia. The tower’s design changes as visitors progress upward.

The experience concludes with a confrontation against Yendor. This final encounter tests the time-bending abilities learned throughout the session. The outcome determines whether the kingdoms’ natural time flow is restored.

Chronosphere combines fantasy themes, puzzle-solving, and action gameplay. The time manipulation system allows visitors to correct errors by rewinding sequences. The experience supports configurations from 6×6 meters to 10×10 meters and runs on PICO 4, Quest, and VIVE Focus headsets through the Spawnpoint platform.
