Propagation: Top Survivors is a cooperative VR zombie shooter where each player joins up to 7 others (8 players total) to escape an abandoned city during a hurricane-driven evacuation. Survivors must reactivate scattered ARES military devices to hold back zombie waves while reaching the Top Squad extraction point.
Players navigate multiple paths through the city, stopping at strategic supply points to switch among 13 available weapons and coordinate defense positions. The game dynamically scales zombie numbers based on group size, maintaining challenge across session sizes for groups of 1 to 8 players.
Mission progress requires locating and restarting ARES devices at key points throughout the environment. Different route choices lead to varied tactical scenarios and outcomes, with the final cinematic sequence reflecting mission success or failure.
The experience runs on PCVR systems and is available on the Octopod platform. Each player requires 4-9 square meters of unobstructed play space. Compatible headsets include PICO 4, Quest, and VIVE Focus.
