The Warp is a cooperative sci-fi horror experience set aboard a derelict space station. Players are sent to investigate a vessel that has gone dark, with no communications, no power, and no life signs detected on initial scans.
The experience takes place in complete darkness. Players navigate the unpowered station using handheld lights, encountering evidence of catastrophe as they progress. Gameplay centers on restoring station systems through puzzle-solving while managing the threat of whatever caused the abandonment.
The Warp runs on PICO 4 headsets and is available on the XIST VR platform. It supports standalone graphics and operates in spaces measuring either 6×6 or 6×12. The experience is designed for cooperative play, with progression dependent on player communication and coordinated problem-solving.
Audio design and dynamic lighting are central to the experience. The station environment combines structural sounds with distant audio cues. As players restore systems, additional areas of the station become accessible, advancing the investigation into what occurred aboard the vessel.
