VR Esports Arena is a free-roam multiplayer platform built on standalone headsets (PICO 4, Quest, VIVE Focus). Operators choose from three packages: Software Only, Arena Lite, or Arena Pro. The platform supports games designed for competitive free-for-all and co-op play.
Phenomena launched VR Esports Arena in 2022 and was acquired by VR eSport Arena in 2025. The platform ships with three games: Versus (player-vs-player laser-tag-style shooter), Enter the Duat (co-op archery set in Ancient Egypt), and Space Dance Harmony (multiplayer rhythm game). Players move freely through the physical space — no fixed positions.
The operator dashboard manages game sessions, software updates, and hardware monitoring from a single interface. A player app provides rankings, leaderboards, and streaming capabilities. The platform is designed for one-attendant operation.
Space configurations range from 6×6 meters to 9×10 meters. Session length and player counts depend on the game selected. The platform supports turnkey hardware packages or software-only integration into existing setups.
VR Esports Arena is built for family entertainment centers and arcades seeking competitive multiplayer content with repeat-play mechanics. The free-roam format and leaderboard features aim to drive return visits.
