Chelsea Football Club will open Mission: Into The Blue, a virtual-reality experience, in summer 2026. It will run at Chelsea FC Museum & Tours, Stamford Bridge. The club announced it on its website and called it “the first of its kind offered by a London club”. The club will sell it as part of the Stadium Tour or on its own.
Bstadium, a Seville company that produces VR and interactive experiences inside football stadium tours, lists Chelsea among its clients.
The club describes Mission: Into The Blue as “suitable for visitors young and old”. A registration form on the club’s tours site offers a priority booking window. The tours page lists the launch as “Summer 2026”.
Chelsea has not published a price, a session length, a headset, a group size or an opening date.
Bstadium is led by chief executive Joaquín Martínez. It started as a Spanish marketplace for immersive sports experiences. PYMES Magazine reported it works with more than 20 clubs in Spain’s first and second divisions. Those include Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, Atlético de Madrid, Sevilla FC and Real Betis. Its investor page at COREangels lists more than 35 clubs and venues. It names Chelsea, Manchester City, SL Benfica, Napoli, Marseille and the San Siro, and puts revenue at about €2 million.
Bstadium said it pays for and operates the experience inside the club’s existing tour. The club takes a share of the revenue. El Español reported in March 2024 that Bstadium’s VR experience at Sevilla FC’s Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán stadium was priced at €12.
Manchester City added Beyond the Blue Moon, a VR add-on to its Etihad Stadium tour, in July 2025. The club called itself the first Premier League club to do so, blooloop reported. The club’s tours page prices it at £12 in advance or £15 on the day. Manchester City bars children under seven and requires an adult with children aged seven to ten. The club sells the experience only as an add-on to a stadium tour.
“The launch of our first-of-its-kind virtual reality experience marks an exciting evolution of the Manchester City Stadium Tour, offering fans and visitors an entirely new way to connect,” said Danny Wilson, managing director of Manchester City Operations, at the launch.
Neither Manchester City nor Chelsea names the builder in its own material.
For clubs, Manchester City’s published terms are £12 to £15 per head on top of the tour ticket, ages seven and up. For VR vendors, Bstadium pays for the installation and takes a recurring share per site at more than 35 clubs and venues. For operators of standalone VR venues, Chelsea will sell Mission: Into The Blue on its own at a price it has not published.
