CineCoaster is a 4-seat VR motion simulator from Amega Entertainment. It’s a compact roller coaster ride system built for family entertainment centers, arcades, and similar venues where floor space is tight but throughput matters.

The unit seats four riders in a cabin mounted on a 2-DOF dynamic platform. The motion system delivers pitch and roll synchronized to the VR content, and environmental effects—wind, lighting, foot ticklers—layer in physical sensation. The headsets are Samsung Gear VR units running off Samsung S7 phones, which tells you this is legacy mobile VR hardware. It works, but it’s not current-generation standalone.

The footprint is 2.9m × 4.9m, which is small enough to fit into tight midway layouts. Power draw is 5kW nominal, 7kW peak, on 3-phase 220V. Weight is 1,500 kg total, with a floor loading of 550 kg/m². An attendant is required to load guests and manage the cycle.

CineCoaster runs a library of pre-produced VR films—mostly roller coaster and thrill-ride content. The content is not customizable in the sense of operator-authored experiences, but Amega offers multiple titles to rotate through. This is a fixed-content model, not a platform for third-party development.

The product won a Brass Ring Award, which is IAAPA’s recognition program for excellence in the amusement industry. That’s a real credential in the FEC and attraction space.

This is a mid-tier VR simulator in the 4-seat category. It’s proven hardware for venues that want a compact, attendant-supervised thrill ride with reasonable throughput. The mobile VR headsets are a limitation compared to newer standalone systems, but the motion platform and effects package deliver the physical engagement that sells the experience to guests. If you’re evaluating 4-seat simulators and space is a constraint, CineCoaster is worth a call to Amega.
