Ninja Trials is a free-roam VR escape room experience in which 2 to 5 players take on three sequential challenges testing combat, stealth, and meditation skills under the instruction of a ninja master. The 45-minute session requires a 5×6 meter play space and is available on the vrCAVE VR Escape Rooms platform.
The experience opens in a dojo at nightfall, where players receive instructions for three trials. In the Trial of Combat, players engage in melee encounters requiring weapon handling and evasive maneuvers. The Trial of Stealth tasks players with navigating monitored areas without detection. The Trial of Spirit presents meditation sequences framed as unlocking inner abilities.
The narrative positions players as ninja apprentices proving their readiness to their master. Successful completion of all three trials forms the win condition. The experience runs on PCVR headsets (HTC VIVE Focus 3) and standalone headsets (Meta Quest series, PICO 4), with both software-only and turnkey deployment options offered through the vrCAVE platform.
