Description

Safari is a motion-based VR attraction from VRPark — a seated, rail-guided ride through the Serengeti. Guests encounter lions, giraffes, and elephants in a three-seat simulator with 3DOF motion that syncs to terrain and camera movement. It runs on Oculus Rift headsets and requires an attendant to operate.

The experience is a passive wildlife tour, not a game. Guests watch the safari unfold — they don’t steer or shoot. Optional props (binoculars, safari hats) add theater but aren’t interactive inputs. The motion system delivers bumps and sways to match the ride path. Audio is spatial; visuals are pre-rendered high-definition video.

Safari works for zoos, natural history museums, aquariums, science centers, and family entertainment centers. It’s educational content for a general audience — not thrill-seekers or arcade regulars. The three-seat configuration supports small group or family bookings. Cycle time depends on content length (not specified by VRPark) plus load/unload.

The hardware is a compact pod. Footprint is listed as TBC (to be confirmed) — operators should verify space requirements with VRPark before committing. The simulator is self-contained; setup involves mounting headsets, routing power, and calibrating motion. VRPark provides U.S. support directly.

Optional add-ons include a photo kit (guests get a souvenir image from the ride) and themed props. These drive per-cap revenue and social sharing but add operational steps — staff must stage props and process photos between sessions.

This is a storytelling ride, not a repeatable game. Guests experience the same narrative every time. That limits repeat visitation unless you rotate it seasonally or pair it with other attractions. It works best as a draw for first-time visitors or school groups where the educational angle justifies the visit.

Attendant requirement is confirmed — someone must load guests, fit headsets, start the experience, and monitor the ride. That’s a labor cost to factor into operating margins.
