
Sandora VR’s Napoleon: The Immersive Saga has run at all five of The Park Playground‘s free-roam VR venues in Flanders since 15 September 2026. Sandora VR announced the launch on LinkedIn, naming five cities: Antwerp, Leuven, Hasselt, Ghent and Kortrijk.
“This collaboration marks another milestone for Sandora VR, as we continue to immerse audiences in culture through virtual reality,” Sandora VR said in its LinkedIn post.
The Park Playground’s page lists Napoleon as running until 30 November 2026.
The Park Playground is a LEXRA member. LEXRA’s executive director, Bob Cooney, publishes The VR Collective.
Visitors wear VR headsets and walk freely through a 60 m² space, according to The Park Playground’s page. The 30-minute experience runs from Napoleon’s victories to his final days in exile.
The Park Playground takes groups of two or more. It runs the experience in Dutch, English and French, three of the seven languages Sandora VR lists. Its page says a scientific committee supported the experience.
Sandora VR rates its installation for up to 12 visitors at a time, at about 30 minutes a run. On those figures, back-to-back runs move at most 24 visitors an hour per installation.
Groups choose Napoleon when they book one of The Park Playground’s packages. Its website lists those packages from €34.95 per player.
Sandora VR’s Napoleon tour began at the Cinquantenaire Army Museum in Brussels, The VR Collective reported in April 2025. It then moved to Kinepolis Lille and Galeries Montparnasse in Paris.
For free-roam VR operators, Napoleon occupies 60 m² and moves at most 24 visitors an hour per installation. The Park Playground lists the run to 30 November. For cultural VR studios, Napoleon has moved from the Cinquantenaire Army Museum in Brussels to The Park Playground’s game list.
