Wevr is an immersive experience studio founded in 2010 and headquartered in Los Angeles, California, with an additional studio in Malta serving European and international projects. The company is co-founded and led by CEO Neville Spiteri. Investors include HTC, Epic Games, and Warner Bros.
The studio develops location-based virtual reality experiences for museums, cultural institutions, and theme parks. Its works include theBlu, an ocean-exploration franchise installed at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County and expanded internationally, including Expedition Taiwan; Terracotta Warriors: Secrets of the First Emperor’s Mausoleum; and a location-based Harry Potter experience. Wevr also develops transmedia and cross-platform projects, including work within the Matrix franchise, and produced a pavilion experience for the Malta World Expo 2025.
Wevr’s experiences are installed directly at partner venues such as museums and theme parks, rather than distributed through third-party arcade platforms. The company also operates Wevr Virtual Studio, a real-time 3D production and DevOps platform.
