HTC VIVE is the virtual reality brand of HTC Corporation, a Taiwanese electronics company headquartered in New Taipei City. The first VIVE headset launched in 2016 in partnership with Valve. The brand now covers PC VR and standalone headsets, the VIVEPORT content platform, the VIVERSE 3D worlds platform, and VIVE Arts, which produces XR projects with museums and cultural institutions. HTC VIVE sits on the founding board of LEXRA, the industry association for location-based XR.

The standalone VIVE Focus line is the brand’s main offer for location-based entertainment. VIVE Focus 3 is an all-in-one headset with 26-point hand tracking, and Focus Vision adds a 5K display, a 120 degree field of view, and eye and body tracking support.
