Alien Infection is a cooperative VR escape experience in which players must survive aboard an alien spacecraft after being captured and infected with a deadly parasite. The experience runs 45 minutes and supports 2 to 5 players working together to solve puzzles, navigate the ship’s corridors, and locate a cure before the infection spreads.
The narrative begins with a search for a lost cat that escalates into an encounter with extraterrestrial forces. Players awaken aboard the alien vessel, discover they have been infected, and must collaborate to decode alien technology, unlock pathways, and escape. The experience combines story-driven progression with cooperative puzzle-solving in a sci-fi horror setting.
Alien Infection is available on the vrCAVE VR Escape Rooms platform. It currently runs on PCVR systems, with standalone headset support (VIVE Focus, PICO 4, Quest) announced. The experience supports optional peripherals including bHaptics haptic devices and StrikerVR Mavrik Pro controllers. The minimum play area is 5×6 meters.
The extended 45-minute session length differentiates Alien Infection from shorter arcade experiences. The cooperative structure accommodates team-building events, group bookings, and players seeking narrative-driven VR content.
