Firos is a free-roaming cooperative VR experience for 2 to 8 players set in a science fiction environment. Players work together to locate a black box that contains information about a lost planet’s inhabitants while navigating areas controlled by robotic enemies. The experience runs 25 to 30 minutes per session and is designed for players aged 10 and up.
The game takes place across multiple environments including domed structures and outdoor areas. Players must coordinate as a team to avoid hazards and reach their objective. Firos is available on the Octopod platform and runs on PCVR hardware including HTC Vive Pro headsets. The experience requires a play area of 50 to 100 square meters.
