Mixed reality party attraction system from Fantail Games. Runs on Quest and PICO 4 Ultra Enterprise headsets in spaces from 2m x 3m, with usage-metered licensing and a Windows operator app hosting multiple play areas from one PC.
Game Night is a mixed reality party attraction system from Fantail Games, a Christchurch, New Zealand studio founded by Steve Linton. The system runs on off-the-shelf Meta Quest and PICO 4 Ultra Enterprise headsets using passthrough video, hand tracking, and spatially aware gameplay. Players see each other and the venue while they play, and furniture in the space becomes part of the game.
A Windows operator app hosts multiple simultaneous play areas from a single PC over standard Wi-Fi. Each play area needs a minimum of 2m x 3m of floor space, walls do not need to be square, and headsets can join or leave without interrupting a session. Spectator headsets are unlimited. Fantail Games reports field testing at Armageddon Expo in New Zealand with 21 headsets on one laptop serving 600 guests per day on 10-minute turnarounds, and more than 10,000 guests played across two years.
Licensing is usage-metered per headset on active gameplay time only. Lobby time, set-down headsets, and spectators are unmetered. Game Night launched commercially worldwide on July 14, 2026. Fantail Games offers custom-themed minigames for venue chains.
