Mission Sigma is a VR escape room for 2–6 players racing to disarm a nuclear warhead on the roof of a trap-filled high-rise. Solve puzzles, coordinate with your team, and reach the roof before time runs out. Designed for ages 13+, easy difficulty, 3×3 meter play area.
Mission Sigma is a VR escape room for 2–6 players who have 60 minutes to disarm a nuclear warhead planted on the roof of an abandoned high-rise. The building is rigged with traps designed to stop you. The secret service got you into the courtyard — after that, you’re on your own.
The setup is straightforward: a terrorist planted the warhead and wired the building to prevent anyone from reaching it. You play a specialist brought in to solve the traps and disarm the device before the timer runs out. Each floor presents a different puzzle — logic locks, laser grids, timed mechanisms. The difficulty scales as you climb.
This is a team experience. One person can’t solve everything alone. Groups split up tasks, share observations, and coordinate to move forward. Communication matters. The ticking clock adds pressure without making the puzzles impossible — the difficulty is rated easy, so this works for groups new to escape rooms or VR.
Mission Sigma runs on the VRP 2.0 platform and works with PCVR headsets including PICO 4, Quest, and VIVE Focus. Minimum play area is 3×3 meters. Groups of up to six can play in the same session.
Operators running escape room experiences will recognize the format — a narrative premise, sequential puzzle progression, and a fixed time limit. The VR layer adds verticality and environmental storytelling that physical escape rooms can’t match. Players see the city outside the windows, move through floors of the building, and interact with objects in ways that would require significant set construction in a physical space.
The target audience is ages 13 and up. The theme is counterterrorism, but the content focuses on puzzle-solving rather than combat. Groups looking for a cooperative challenge that doesn’t require shooter reflexes or prior VR experience will find this accessible.
Mission Sigma launched in March 2019. It’s an established title in the room-scale VR escape room category — proven content that runs on current headsets without requiring custom hardware or large floor space.
