A cooperative free-roam VR experience where up to 16 players help baby penguins find their way home. Designed for family entertainment centers and arcades serving guests ages 5 and up.
Save the Penguins is a free-roam VR experience from BattleStart where players help baby penguins find their way home. Up to 16 players move through the space together, working cooperatively to guide the penguins safely. The experience runs on standalone headsets (PICO 4, Quest) in spaces as small as 5×5 meters.
The gameplay is designed for family entertainment centers, arcades, and venues serving younger guests. Rated for ages 5 and up, it avoids combat or aggressive themes. Players work together rather than compete, which makes it a good fit for mixed-age groups and families.
BattleStart offers the title as software-only or as a turnkey package with setup support. The 16-player capacity allows operators to run multiple groups through the same physical space concurrently, which helps with throughput during busy periods.
The experience is available in 5×5 or 6×9 meter configurations. Operators choose the layout based on their available floor space and player capacity needs.
