Space Marine VR: Defenders of Avarax is a free-roam virtual reality experience set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe. Players take the role of Space Marines in a co-op shooter that supports up to 8 participants simultaneously.
The experience runs on the Zero Latency platform, a turnkey system. Players move freely through virtual environments representing battlefields from the Warhammer 40,000 setting. The experience uses PCVR graphics and operates on PICO 4, Quest, and VIVE Focus headsets.
Space Marine VR: Defenders of Avarax is designed as a cooperative PvE experience. Players work together to complete objectives against AI-controlled opponents in a science fiction setting. The free-roam format allows participants to physically walk through the play space while the VR system tracks their position and movements.
