The Prison is a 60-minute VR escape room for 2 to 6 players. You’re a cop framed by corrupt officials and thrown into a high-security jail. Your team outside has set up your escape—now you solve the puzzles, avoid the guards, and gather evidence to clear your name.
The Prison is a 60-minute room-scale VR escape room for 2 to 6 players. Released in June 2019 on the VRP 2.0 platform, it’s built for PCVR and runs on PICO 4, Quest, and VIVE Focus headsets in a 3×3-meter space.
You’re a police officer framed by corrupt officials and thrown into a maximum-security prison. Your team on the outside has arranged the tools you need. Your job is to solve the puzzles, avoid the guards, and get out before the window closes.
The gameplay is puzzle-focused. Players search the cell and surrounding areas for hidden items, decipher codes, manipulate locks and mechanical systems, and coordinate with teammates to move through the facility undetected. Each puzzle feeds into the next. The timer adds pressure. The environment is claustrophobic and tense.
The Prison works for escape room operators looking for a narrative-driven group experience that fills an hour and supports up to six players in a small footprint. The story gives the experience weight beyond mechanical puzzle-solving. Players aren’t just breaking out—they’re gathering evidence to prove their innocence and expose the corruption that put them inside.
For venues serving audiences that want story and challenge over shooters or party games, The Prison delivers. It’s designed for players aged 13 and up who can handle hard-difficulty puzzles and a darker narrative tone.
