Felix & Paul Studios, co-founded by Félix Lajeunesse and Paul Raphaël, builds large-scale, free-roam VR experiences for permanent and touring LBE installations, alongside a wider catalogue of cinematic VR content. The Montreal-based studio’s LBE flagship is Interstellar Arc, a permanent free-roam VR experience at AREA15 in Las Vegas.
Interstellar Arc evolved from Space Explorers: THE INFINITE, an earlier touring free-roam exhibit that has run in cities including Atlanta and Mississauga, and from Space Explorers: The ISS Experience, immersive footage shot aboard the International Space Station in partnership with NASA and SpaceX. Felix & Paul is the only media company holding Official Implementation Partner status with the ISS US National Laboratory.
Beyond LBE, the studio’s catalogue includes cinematic VR co-productions with Cirque du Soleil, Jurassic World, and the Obama White House, and it operates Headspace Studio, its in-house immersive audio division.
Deep Dive with Bob Cooney:
Felix & Paul Studios built Interstellar Arc, a permanent large-scale free-roam VR experience in Las Vegas, evolving from their earlier work on The Infinite and immersive ISS footage shot with NASA and SpaceX. Co-founder Paul Raphaël discussed the project’s shift from touring model to permanent installation, and the physical design elements (railings, haptics, wind) that hold presence together at scale.
