Talon Simulations builds motion simulator platforms and turnkey VR attractions for location-based entertainment and for training. The company is headquartered in Altamonte Springs, Florida, and was founded by mechanical engineers.
The range covers finished attractions and the motion hardware underneath them. Vortex is a single-seat turnkey motion simulator in a 28 square foot footprint, shipping with a bundled library of 30 experiences. The TX2 and TX3 are motion bases supplied for integration under an operator’s own seat, controls and VR system: the TX2 gives two degrees of freedom in a 4 by 6 foot footprint, and the TX3 gives three, driving pitch, roll and heave for aircraft, race car and boat simulation. Both run from a single 120V outlet. More than 150 Talon simulators have been deployed to Dave and Buster’s venues, running licensed content including Jurassic World, Terminator, Men in Black and Star Trek.
Talon also works as a systems integrator, installing and supporting equipment built by other manufacturers. That side of the business is listed separately under Consulting and Integration.
