Last Resistance is a free-roam VR first-person shooter set in a post-apocalyptic 2034 where AI cyborgs have devastated humanity. Players join the resistance to battle waves of cyborg forces in a 6.0×6.0 meter play area. The experience supports 1 to 4 players and runs for 25 minutes. It released on August 11, 2023.
The experience offers two gameplay modes. In PvE mode, up to four players cooperate against AI cyborg enemies, requiring strategic coordination to survive successive waves. In PvP mode, 2 to 4 players engage in competitive battles where trust becomes uncertain and players may turn against each other within the resistance setting.
Last Resistance runs on Quest headsets and is available on the SynthesisVR platform as a turnkey solution. The experience is optimized for SynthesisVR and requires an internet connection. It includes marketing materials and operator documentation.
