Description

Mansion of Death is a free-roam and room-scale virtual reality escape game developed by Infinity Reality, a Brussels-based studio. Released in 2025, the title places groups of players inside a cursed manor where three occultists once conducted experiments on their victims. The central objective is cooperative: piece together the history of the mansion, solve a series of puzzles, and escape before time runs out.

The game runs across three distribution platforms. SynthesisVR carries both a free-roam mode (Wi-Fi streaming) and a room-scale mode. VEX delivers a free-roam standalone build. Delusion carries a free-roam mode (Wi-Fi streaming) and a room-scale mode, and also supports its proprietary 4D haptics peripheral in that deployment.

Infinity Reality states that Mansion of Death is designed to operate without a dedicated game master: the game guides players through the experience automatically. The title supports adjustable game duration to fit operator scheduling needs.

The free-roam build operates in play spaces ranging from 5×5 metres to 10×10 metres, with intermediate sizes (6×6, 7×7, 8×8, and 9×9 metres) also supported. Compatible headsets include the VIVE Focus, PICO 4, and Quest. Standard VR controllers are used; Infinity Reality notes that peripheral devices such as StrikerVR guns and bHaptics vests are not currently supported, with those features listed for future development.

The experience is categorised by its developers as horror and escape room content. It carries a minimum age recommendation of 14 years on at least one platform. Multilingual support across multiple deployments covers English, French, Spanish, German, Ukrainian, and Russian.
