MissionX is a free-roam VR combat platform for arcades and FECs. Up to 10 players compete in team-based shooter matches across five themed maps. Software-only solution with flexible licensing and tournament support.
MissionX is a free-roam VR combat platform built for competitive multiplayer. It turns open spaces—warehouses, backyards, FEC floors—into team-based shooter arenas where up to 10 players compete in PvP matches.
The platform runs on PICO 4, Quest, or VIVE Focus headsets and integrates bHaptics haptic vests for tactile feedback during combat. Operators configure the play area size to fit their space, from 5×5 meters up to 15×20 meters. The system scales the battlefield to match.
MissionX includes five maps: a space station, pirate ship, old western town, and two others. All run the same core gameplay—team-based tactical shooter—with different visual themes. Operators switch maps, weapons, and game modes from the admin interface. No physical props or set dressing required.
This is a software-only solution. Operators supply their own headsets, routers, and charging infrastructure. MissionX offers flexible licensing: pay-per-play, monthly per-headset, or annual per-headset. The platform also supports tournament modes for competitive events.
MissionX suits arcades and FECs running competitive free-roam experiences. The lack of co-op content means this is strictly for the VR laser tag audience—players who show up to compete, not cooperate. If your customer base skews toward team battles and leaderboards, MissionX delivers that format at scale.
