Verse Immersive is a headset-based augmented reality platform for entertainment venues. Unlike VR, which replaces the real world entirely, AR overlays digital content onto the physical space visitors are standing in. Guests wear Snap Spectacles AR headsets and see interactive digital elements layered over the venue around them. They stay grounded in the real environment while interacting with digital objects and characters that appear to exist in the room.
The platform runs on Snap Spectacles hardware. Setup requires no external sensors or cords. Space configurations range from 1,000 to 3,000 square feet. Up to 20 players can participate simultaneously in staggered group sessions. The system is designed for family entertainment centers, arcades, museums, and visitor attractions.
Verse Immersive operates as a content platform. Experiences are called Verses. The catalog includes Primal Ranch (dinosaur taming and battles), The Unreal Garden (puzzle exploration), Star Walk (space journey), Art of the Future (art gallery experience), and Astro League (competitive multiplayer). Each Verse is a separate experience; guests choose which one to play during their session.
The AR format keeps players aware of their physical surroundings, which reduces motion sickness compared to fully immersive VR. Social interaction happens naturally because players can see each other in the space while also seeing the shared digital layer. Groups can collaborate or compete depending on the Verse they choose.
Verse Immersive is designed for operators who want group-based AR attractions that don’t require dedicated VR-grade PCs or external tracking hardware. The platform handles onboarding, session management, and content delivery. Staff training requirements are minimal compared to free-roam VR systems.
